Sprinkler Fitters
The Sprinkler Fitters are Pipe Fitter Specialists in Fire Protection. They install Fire Protection Systems of all sorts. For every type of commercial building or risk there is a Fire Protection System for that hazard.

Nature Of The Work
The principle function of a Sprinkler Fitter is the installation of fire protection systems. This includes underground supply piping, which is connected to an integrated overhead piping system for suppression of fire. Safety is first and foremost; therefore you will be trained in the care and proper use of tools and equipment. These will range from pipe wrenches and pipe threading machines to welding equipment and man lifts.

Construction Projects
Construction projects will range from residential to nuclear power plants. Except for under ground supply piping, most sprinkler piping is installed at or near the roof deck. Most of the installation is performed while working on ladders, scaffolds or man lifts.
